To zoom in a little at the individual performances, Mike Glennon completed 11 of 18 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown. While Mitch Trubisky completed 10 of 15 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown.
Glennon was able to sell the play-action and find Dion Sims in the corner of the end zone for a touchdown on the opening drive. The Tennessee Titans were clearly selling out for the run and Glennon made them pay, which is a good sight to see.
However, Glennon just leaves you with more to be desired. He is not extraordinary in anything he does. He missed Deonte Thompson in the second quarter for a touchdown, because he threw the deep pass at his feet.
Mitchell Trubisky had an amazing 45-yard touchdown pass to Tanner Gentry in the fourth quarter. Trubisky also flashed his mobility and poise. However, a Titan did drop an interception, but that is bound to happen with a rookie quarterback. I was very impressed with the play of Trubisky.
It is only a matter of time until Mitchell Trubisky is the starter. The only question is when?
