Day 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft was a massive night for the Chicago Bears. The Bears found themselves adding a pair of potential franchise-changing players, drafting USC quarterback Caleb Williams first overall (to the surprise of no one) before adding Washington wideout Rome Odunze with Pick No. 9.

The Bears' draft experience isn't over, though. Day 2 of the draft is on Friday and the Bears will have another pick to make as they currently hold the No. 75 selection. While we don't know who Chicago is using that pick on just yet, we do know who'll be announcing it.

Bears Draft News: Charles Tillman to Announce Day 2 Picks

On Thursday afternoon, NFL insider Ian Rapoport revealed who'll be announcing each of the 32 teams' Day 2 selections. When it comes to the Bears, the second-day duties will be handled by none other than legendary cornerback Charles Tillman.

Tillman isn't a stranger to Day 2 of the NFL Draft. The former two-time Pro Bowl defender was drafted 35th overall by the Bears in 2003 before going on to have one of the best defensive careers in franchise history.

The 43-year-old played a whopping 13 seasons in the NFL with 12 of those campaigns coming in a Bears uniform. He certainly made the most of his time in the Windy City, playing 156 games while racking up 754 solo tackles, 36 interceptions, 133 broken-up passes, and 42 forced fumbles. Not only does his INT total rank third-best in franchise history, but his eight Pick-6s are the most by any Chicago player.

After a one-year stint with the Carolina Panthers, Tillman announced his NFL retirement in July 2016. However, he didn't do so without honoring the Chicago faithful, signing a one-day contract so that he could retire as a Bear. He's since gone from tacking footballs to criminals, enjoying the retired life as an FBI agent.

It'll be interesting to see whose name Tillman announces later on Friday. After going with back-to-back offensive picks in the first round, the Bears could be looking to shore up the defensive side of the ball on Day 2.

Following their Day 1 showing, the Bears are now tied for the 12th-best odds (+4000) to win Super Bowl LIX according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Head over there now to lock in these odds.
