The Chicago Bears now sit at 4-2 on the season and in the middle of what is shaping up to be a very heated NFC North race. One that the Bears have a chance to make a statement in on the heels of a controlling win over the Atlanta Falcons. Now, the Bears will be in a primetime spot for three straight weeks starting with taking on the defending AFC champion New England Patriots followed by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football.

Even with the Tampa Bay Bucs being an underwhelming team so far this season three weeks from now the Bears will host the Bucs on Sunday Night Football. A three-game winning streak is very much on the table when you look at the talent and consider the matchups in a trio of games that will give those outside Chicago a chance to focus on the talent the Bears have assembled.

Chicago has a chance with Caleb Williams back on the field and healthy to make a statement by beating the defending AFC and NFC champs in back-to-back weeks. Doing this on a national stage followed by a third win against Tampa Bay would offer a level of undeniably elite wins. Wins that would push the Bears back to the top of the NFC conversation.

Coming into the regular season and after Week 1's offensive explosion the Bears were considered among Super Bowl favorites prior to an injury to Williams. The Bears found a way to scrap out two wins without their starter and now are building momentum at the perfect time.

Bears have a chance to make undeniable NFC statement as schedule sets up potentially elite run

While all wins count the same at the end of the season, the next two weeks have a chance to be message to the rest of the league. Finding a way to beat the two teams involved in last year's Super Bowl while the rest of the league sits at home watching is an accomplishment that cannot be ignored and is going to guarantee Chicago has not only the attention of fans, but the league itself.

It also should be noted here that this is a chance for Williams to get a bit of revenge on the national stage. Many pundits and fans mocked and downplayed the importance of the quarterback based on his response to a Week 2 injury that proved not to be as serious as first feared.

No question, the Bears are in a great position, one that offers the franchise a chance to begin a win streak that catches the attention of the rest of the league and pushes the Bears back towards the top of the NFC North.
