The Chicago Bears had the most explosive offense in Week 1 by a significant margin. They put up 59 points against a hard-fighting Carolina Panthers team that outscored all but three teams in their first game of the season.
Notably, the Bears' next rival so happens to be one of the two that actually scored more points. The Minnesota Vikings used a 22-point fourth-quarter rally to laughably take down the Green Bay Packers, and they'll now be on the road for the first time of the season.
That said, the final score was pretty misleading, and even in a divisional rival, Ben Johnson's team looks much better here. Considering that, let's share the three simple but significant reasons why the Bears will be 2-0 by the end of that game.

Ben Johnson owns Brian Flores
Everybody gushes about Brian Flores' defensive mind, and rightfully so. In all fairness, he probably should be a head coach. However, as much credit as he deserves, Ben Johnson has proven to be his nemesis.
Johnson's offenses are 5-1 against Flores' defenses, including 1-1 as the Bears' head coach. It would've been 2-0 if it weren't for a late-game collapse in his head-coaching debut, but that's neither here nor there.
Flores uses sophisticated blitz packages to keep quarterbacks on their toes. That usually works out well, but Caleb Williams happens to be at his best in those scenarios. Unless Coach Flores cooks something different, he'll be the one getting cooked.
The quarterback matchup favors Chicago
On that same note, the quarterback situation clearly favors the Bears in this one. Even if Kyler Murray suits up after suffering a concussion in Week 1, he was sloppy and looked overwhelmed in his first game with the Vikings.
The Vikings will turn to Carson Wentz if Murray can go, and not many people can say with a straight face that they fully expect him to have two good games in a row. That hasn't happened since his career-derailing injury.
Caleb Williams is coming off scoring four total touchdowns in the opener, already has an elite rapport with his weapons, and is one of the most talented signal-callers in the game. This is a team sport, but that's the most important position in team sports.
Soldier Field will be roaring
This cannot be overlooked. The Bears will play in front of a sold-out crowd, absolutely roaring, looking to remind the front office that the team belongs in Chicago and that they just can't leave town. Not in a million years.
The Bears are a legitimate Super Bowl contender and will have fans buzzing, especially with this electric offense. Whoever is under center for the Vikings will have a tough time getting the call in and getting everyone on the same page.
Stadium stuff aside, it's a great time to be a Bears fans, and while they're not the Packers, there's definitely no love lost for another NFC North foe like the Vikings. Home field advantage matters, and the Bears' faithful will make life hell for the visitors.
