In the third round, the Bears decide to trade back and acquire more balanced capital. Here, we see the Bears make a deal with the Denver Broncos, sending their third-round pick (no. 71) and a sixth-round pick (no. 185) in exchange for a late-third and fourth-round pick (no. 96 and 111).

With that first selection, the Bears go after one of the most athletic offensive linemen in the draft in Memphis’ Dylan Parham.

Parham stands 6-foot-3 and weighs around 285 pounds, so right away you can see one of the knocks on him and why he’ll be drafted here. He’s a little light for his position, but that also allows him to be athletic in space. Parham has no issues getting to the second level and securing his block, as he is very quick.

He’s played multiple positions over his career, which helps the Bears in case of injury. But, he’ll fit best at guard. Parham should come in right away and start from Day 1, which means the Bears have one-less starting position to worry about. Next up, they get another starter in the fold.
