Chicago Bears: Bold predictions for the offense in 2019
By Ryan Heckman
3. Bears will have pair of 800 yard receivers
A year ago, the Bears had four players finish with at least 500 receiving yards. Two of those players came at positions other than wide receiver — Tarik Cohen and Trey Burton.

There are a lot of factors that go into this prediction, so let me start with one of the big ones: Anthony Miller is healthy. Last year, he played almost his entire rookie season with an ailing shoulder injury and still caught seven touchdowns. Yardage-wise, he only finished with 423 — that’s going to change.
The other 800-plus-yard wideout is, of course, going to be Allen Robinson. The rapport he developed with Trubisky down the stretch was undeniable. That’s going to be an easy one to see happening in 2019, after he finished with 754 yards in 13 games a year ago.
The Bears drafted David Montgomery to be their every-down type of back, while also being able to sprinkle in Cohen here and there. But, Montgomery is going to take the majority of touches at running back, giving Cohen fresh legs to do what he needs to do in various areas. Cohen likely won’t finish with over 700 receiving yards once again — although I wouldn’t put it past him.
Burton, meanwhile, is somewhat of a mystery. Will he again top the 500-yard mark? Nope, just as I said previously, he won’t get there. The Bears have a lot of mouths to feed, but the main two will get their touches in the passing game — Robinson and Miller.
