Chicago White Sox: Updated ranking of the top 15 prospects
8. Carson Fulmer, RHP
Carson Fulmer is a very interesting pitching prospect and he has already spent a good amount of time with the Chicago White Sox. Fulmer is currently in Triple-A and has started 19 games. He has a record of 6-6 and a 5.42 ERA. Fulmer has all the skills to be a big league pitcher, he just needs to improve his control and his command.
Ideally, Fulmer would grow into a mid-rotation starter and I could definitely see him fitting that role well. However, with his struggles, he may see himself coming out of the bullpen at the major league level.

One of the main reasons Fulmer struggled during his first pro season was the White Sox tried to remake his delivery. As of now, Fulmer is back to his old delivery that helped him win a national championship in college.
I am not sure which way the Chicago White Sox will go with Fulmer. However, his skills on the mound are undeniable and he will be a great asset as a starter or out of the bullpen.

7. Reynaldo Lopez, RHP
If there is anyone in the top 10, besides Yoan Moncada, who is ready for his chance to shine at the big league level, Reynaldo Lopez is that player. Lopez was part of the package from the Nationals in the Eaton trade and is currently pitching lights out in Triple-A with a 6-5 record and a 3.65 ERA.
Stop me if you have heard this before, Lopez is a flamethrower! His average fastball sits around 96 MPH and has hit 100. Throwing hard isn’t the only thing Lopez can do. He has a nice curveball and has developed a change-up. Lopez knows how to work all areas of the plate and can get strikeouts when needed, although he’s known for being a contact pitcher.
In his last five starts, Lopez has a 1.71 ERA, with 39 strikeouts and only six walks. To say that Lopez is ready to join the Chicago White Sox rotation is an understatement. It will be very interesting to see when they decide to make the call and bring him up. I can see Lopez being a huge part of the White Sox rotation for many years to come.
