This Chicago Bulls are reportedly interested in landing Chris Bosh. This move would not make any sense for the team.

News recently broke, from Marc Stein of ESPN, that the Chicago Bulls may be interested in Chris Bosh after this season. As someone who is far more concerned about championships and wins, I am extremely troubled by this news.

I felt that the Bulls were truly in a good position after trading Derrick Rose and letting Joakim Noah walk. My hopes were suddenly turned into fears after the announcement of the Rajon Rondo signing. The Dwyane Wade signing was low-risk and I really would not have minded it if Rondo had not been signed. It appeared as though the front office did not care about wins, just a sold out United Center.

This is the issue, Bulls fans. We currently have a front office who does not care about rings, who does not care about playoff runs, and who does not care about winning. I know you are probably in disbelief after reading that, but I have no other conclusion.

More from Chicago Bulls

Chris Bosh has not played in almost two seasons, he is 33 years-old, and he has major health issues. Why would the Bulls want to sign him? He has a big name, he has two championships, and he has plenty of All-Star games to his name.

So, the thinking here is that adding Chris Bosh will continue to pack out the United Center despite the incredibly low quality of basketball being played on the court.

If you were excited about Chris Bosh possibly coming to Chicago, you have fallen for the Gar Forman trap.

Chris Bosh does not put this team over-the-top in the Eastern Conference, Chris Bosh does not even put this team above a five-seed realistically, and Chris Bosh should just not come to Chicago.

Next: Two Trades the Bulls Must Make

Bulls fans, we should not take this any longer. We need good Chicago Bulls basketball back. So, I hope this front office leaves Bosh alone, and adds proven, young pieces around Jimmy Butler to eventually win a championship.
