Latest Chicago Bulls rumors have the team checking in on veteran big man Chris Bosh.

The latest batch of Chicago Bulls rumors are extremely interesting. Chris Bosh has not played an NBA game since February of 2016, and nobody in the league knows if he will ever be able to play again.

Bosh is dealing with a serious blood clotting issues that could end his career. That being said, if he does get healthy enough to play, the Chicago Bulls reportedly have some interest.

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Bulls have their eye on Bosh.

“If Bosh, who turns 33 in March, makes it back onto the floor next season,” Stein wrote. “Word is that the Chicago Bulls are already plotting a run and will be at the front of the line to try to sign him.”

This could be a thin rumor, but I highly doubt that Stein is pulling this from out of nowhere. It may be a long-shot that Bosh ever plays in the NBA again, but the Bulls would be a logical fit for him.

More from Chicago Bulls

Bosh and Dwyane Wade had a lot of success together in the past. While I personally feel as if the Bulls need to work on getting younger, they seem determined to roll out a veteran group. At least Bosh would help spread the floor.

Bosh was once one of the best big men in the NBA. He really changed his game with the Miami Heat and became a big-time outside shooter. In his prime years, Bosh was one of the best shooting big men in the game. He also shows great touch around the rim.

I do not think a 33-year-old player with career-threatening blood clot issues is exactly the direction the Bulls need to be going. However, Bosh’s ability to shoot the ball would undoubtedly create more space for Jimmy Butler to work.

These Chicago Bulls rumors seem random, but I could see how Bosh could be a strong fit. It will be interesting to see if this ends up being a possibility.
