Brandon Boykin (21 tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble) — Pittsburgh Steelers

Boykin had an interesting season. As with a lot of high-profile players with Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles, he was disgruntled and wanted off the team.

The Pittsburgh Steelers lost their second-round pick, Senquez Golson, for the season. They were in need of a cornerback, and pulled the trigger on a trade for Boykin.

The trade had a provision that if Boykin played more than 60 percent of the snaps, the Eagles would receive a 4th round pick. If it was lower, they would get a 5th rounder.

For some reason (wink-wink), Boykin did not see much time on the field, even as their other cornerbacks were looking like burnt toast. He was used almost entirely on special teams.

Then, before the game in Week 13, the Steelers started him at corner, and he stayed there the rest of the season. In that time, the defense had a resurgence, and the team won four of its final five games.

Even though Boykin played in just 281 snaps at corner, he was rated at 29th of 118 cornerbacks rated by Pro Football Focus.

Boykin is looking to be a big contributor for a team. He could be a valuable asset for the Chicago Bears. He would play the slot, and with age and injuries creeping up on Porter, he could start at one of the other slots.

Boykin is an aggressive corner who could keep up with the big receivers. He would add credibility to the Chicago Bears defense, and would thrive under Fangio.
