The Chicago Bears are 4-2 as they enter the bye week. After a shaky start, the Bears have ripped off three straight wins.

The vibes in the Windy City are mounting and the latest rumors coming from Chicago will only pump up the fanbase more.

According to Sportsmockery.com, GM Ryan Poles isn't scared to take a big swing at the trade deadline and has his eyes on edge rushers Maxx Crosby and Myles Garrett.

Raiders owner Mark Davis said that a trade involving Maxx Crosby won't happen but the team just sent out receiver Devante Adams to the New York Jets on Tuesday. In addition, the Cleveland Browns are 1-5 and shipped out receiver Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills.

Both guys are legitimate superstars so Chicago would have to blow either team out of the water with a deal to land either player. If they find a way to do so, it'll elevate the Bears massively.

Crosby is tied for fifth in the league in (5.5) in 2024 and is one of the most disruptive defenders in the league. He's notched three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances and has 57.5 sacks in his career.

As for Garrett, the Texas A&M product has 92.5 career sacks, including six straight seasons with double-digit sacks.

Chicago is currently fifth in the league in team sacks (18) but they are seeking to add more juice. Last year, the Bears added Montez Sweat ahead of the trade deadline, showcasing Poles is ready to make an in-season trade to spark his club.

The NFL trade deadline is on Nov. 5 so the Bears have a little over two weeks to facilitate a deal. We'll have to wait and see if Poles can work his magic yet again.
