The Chicago Bears won their first game of the season in historic fashion. The offense managed to put up almost sixty points in a shootout game between Caleb Williams and Bryce Young. Across the entire high-scoring game, the Bears scored eight overall touchdowns. Out of all the touchdowns in the game, which one was your favorite?

The Chicago Bears’ eight touchdowns were not created equally

Number 8: D'Andre Swift one yard run with 1:59 left in the first quarter.

This one wasn't the most spectacular play of the day, but it was just as much essential as all of the others. A conventional run from the one yard line is hardly as exciting as a burst run or a spectacular catch, but the best teams in football are routinely good at small ball. Those minute gains are frequently the ones that make the difference in the score at the end of the game.

Number 7: Jahdae Walker 1-yard reception with 6:27 left in the 4th quarter.

Jahdae Walker is one of the Bears receivers that hasn't gotten nearly as much attention as the rest. From Odunze and Burden battling for the top receiver spot on the team, to Kalif Raymond and Zavion Thomas in the ranks for the third starting role, Walker stands alone. This catch marks only Walker's third NFL touchdown, and hopefully we'll see many more to come.

Number 6: D'Andre Swift 1-yard run with 3:05 left in the 3rd quarter.

Very similar to number eight, this was a routine one yard run into the end zone, but the key difference here is that this touchdown broke up a 31-31 tie. Carolina was on the comeback, and this play was paramount to re-igniting the Bears momentum.

Number 5: Caleb Williams 9-yard run with 5:52 left in the 1st quarter.

Carolina was the first to score in the game, and this run from Caleb Williams was the direct answer. One of the hallmarks of good quarterbacks in this league is having the knowledge on when to take off and abandon the play. This was a great example of Caleb exercising good decision making.

Number 4: D'Andre Swift's 29-yard run with 3:40 left in the 4th quarter.

By the time Swift pulled this one out, the Bears had already taken over the game, and this was right around the time that Carolina pulled Bryce Young from the game. This was the final cherry on top of the day, and this was the touchdown that put the game all the way into the nineties when it comes to points.

Number 3: Cole Kmet's 22-yard reception with 13:57 left in the second quarter.

The Bears capitalized on excellent field position thanks to the hard efforts of Kalif Raymond on his 23 yard return that also garnered a 15-yard personal foul penalty. Williams found Kmet in the back of the end zone with multiple players inbound on the tight end. It was an excellent play and catch.

Number 2: Caleb Williams 29-yard run with 22 seconds left in the first half.

After escaping the pocket Williams ventured into the left half of the field because the design of the play drew most defenders right. This opened up plenty of space for him to take it all the way to the house.

Number 1: Kyle Monangai's 61 yard run with 40 seconds left in the third quarter.

The clear top play of the day, Monangai delivered on his return from injury in spectacular fashion. This run was easily the biggest and most explosive play of the day, and it's clear why it takes the top spot. Monangai had an excellent day, both in blocking, short game, and breakout TDs. Not too bad for Week 1.

The Bears may have flattened Carolina, but it's a long season in front of Chicago. Hopefully they haven't used up too many of their touchdowns early, and the Bears can manufacture more games like this in the future.
