Kevin White, WR- 2015

1st Round, 7th Overall

It can be argued that Kevin White was the Bears' worst first-round pick over the last decade, but not because he lacked physical ability. White was 6 '3 tall and speedy with a 4.35-second 40-yard dash, a combination that most NFL teams are looking for. This is why there was some debate on whether Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper or White should be drafted first. Cooper ended up coming off the board at No.4 to the Raiders, which left the Bears to draft White three picks later at 7.

Sadly, his career as a Bear didn't pan out like many hoped it would do to injuries. As a rookie, White suffered a stress fracture in his shin during training camp and missed the whole season. In 2016, he suffered a fractured fibula four games into the season that caused him to miss the rest of the year. In the four games White did play in 2016, he had 19 catches for 187 yards. That means he was averaging around 47 receiving yards a game, which is not great for a player who was drafted as high as White.

In 2017, White suffered a shoulder scapula fracture in week one, which forced him to miss the rest of the season. 2018 was the final year of Whites' rookie contract, and he was healthy the whole season. However, he only played in nine games and had four receptions for 92 yards. After an injury-riddled four seasons, the Bears moved on from White. Since leaving the Bears, White has had stints with the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints, but not in a major capacity.
