Over the past decade, the Chicago Bears have struggled to put together winning seasons. The most success the team had was in 2018 when they made the playoffs. Everyone remembers how that playoff run ended, the double doink . While that still haunts many Bears fans to this day, they have been through much more pain.

Year after year, Bears fans have had to watch the team make truly baffling decisions during the draft. Whether it's reaching on quarterbacks or missing completely on pass rushers and wide receivers, the Bears have set themselves up to fail many times. Let's take a look at the ten worst Bears draft picks since 2014.

10. Adam Shaheen, TE - 2017

2nd Round, 45th overall

Sheheen never quite reached the heights the Bears thought he would when they selected him with the 45th overall pick in the 2017 draft. His failure to succeed with the Bears came down to injuries. In three years with the Bears, Shaheen played a total of 27 games. He played 13 games in his rookie season as the team's fullback, gathering 127 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

In the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Shaheen played 14 combined games as the second tight end behind Trey Burton. In those games, Shaheen had 122 receiving yards and one touchdown. Shaheen's lack of production led to the Bears trading him during the 2020 offseason to the Miami Dolphins for a conditional sixth-round pick in 2021.

Shaheen continued to face injury issues in Miami only lasting two seasons, gathering 260 receiving yards and three touchdowns. If injuries didn't get in his way, who knows what Shaheen may have turned into?
