The Chicago Bears have been one of the most improved teams this offseason. After finishing last season with a 7-10 record, general manager Ryan Poles made it his mission to find quality difference-makers ahead of the 2024 campaign.

They did exactly that by adding the likes of Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze, Keenan Allen, D'Andre Swift, Kevin Byard, and more!

This group is ready to take things to the next level in 2024 and it starts with training camp. Rookies reported on July 16 and veterans joined on July 19. They've been practicing for the past week and had a legendary coach stop by on July 23.

Bears News: Nick Saban Visited Chicago

Per Courtney Cronin, head coach Matt Eberflus sent an invite to Nick Saban to stop by the facility and he accepted. He stopped by on Tuesday and was reportedly in Eberflus' office for over two hours.

These two have a relationship that dates back to 1990. Eberflus was a linebacker at the University of Toledo and Saban was his head coach. He consistently said that Saban is a mentor to him and their relationship continues to thrive today.

During their conversation on Tuesday, these two men talked about leadership, quarterbacks, family, and discussed different coverages for 30 minutes.

Having convos with Saban is something that will only help Eberflus and Chicago this season. The 72-year-old has won seven national championships in college and is known as one of the best coaches ever in college football.

Eberflus has two losing seasons as the coach of the Bears so the pressure to win is now. Gaining anything from a legendary coach could go a long way in 2024.
