The Chicago Bears have been one of the teams who have experienced a lot of turnover this offseason. For months, there were a bunch of conversations on what the Bears should do at quarterback.

Should they stick with Justin Fields or select Caleb Williams with the first overall pick? They decided to roll with the latter, which was the right choice.

Now training camp is in full swing and the Bears are looking to get rolling for an exciting 2024 season that's on the way.

Tempers have flared up during these hot summer practices and Williams is already displaying terrific leadership skills.

Bears News: Caleb Williams Steps up During Camp Dispute

Per Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, defensive end Demarcus Walker got into a jawing match with tight end Gerald Everett. Williams immediately stepped in to diffuse the situation.

As a fan, this brings a smile to your face. The 22-year-old is stopping teammates from escalating a situation in their first padded practice of the summer.

He hasn't taken a snap yet but it appears he's embracing the leader role. As the quarterback, you should be the leader of the team and the former USC standout clearly understands that.

We all know what he can do on the football field. He can throw from multiple arm angles and make any throw on the field but being a leader this early on is a right sign.

As the summer goes on, this won't be the only disagreement between teammates. But it's great to see Williams step in and shut down a situation before it went too far.
