The Chicago Bulls made the much-anticipated decision to rebuild this offseason. They finally parted ways with Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan, kickstarting a new era. Many Bulls fans understandably have questions about the timing of this decision and the return on those deals, but at least there is finally a path and a vision in Chicago.

However, one big question remains. What will happen to Zach LaVine?

Despite scouring the market for trades for the All-Star shooting guard, the Bulls haven't been able to find LaVine a new home. His albatross of a contract has proven too toxic for the rest of the league to touch. Questions about his injury history also added to this lack of interest. Fortunately for Bulls fans, LaVine may have answered these questions with his latest social media post.

Zach LaVine Turns Back the Clock In Latest Video

In his social media post, LaVine is seen doing an impressive between-the-legs, reverse dunk, something reminiscent of his earlier days when he was arguably the best dunker in the league. In recent years, there have been concerns about his declining athleticism and explosiveness. This video hopefully erases those doubts about where LaVine is as a player.

After back-to-back All-Star seasons, LaVine took a step back in the last two years. The 2023-24 season was particularly troubling as he only appeared in 25 games, and averaged 19.5 points per game on inefficient shooting from the field.

At the same time, LaVine is probably still too good to be a part of this rebuilding team. The Bulls are not trying to be competitive next season and LaVine adding a couple of extra wins could hurt their lottery chances in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Therefore, the Bulls are in desperate need to move on from the talented scorer. Showing that he still has his hops could perhaps get more suitors interested in his services.
