It was been a terrible year for the Chicago Bulls. They missed the playoffs for the sixth time in the last seven years.

They finally decided to head towards a rebuild after they dished out DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso. Now the next hurdle for them is finding a way to trade guard Zach LaVine but that has been a difficult task for the front office.

LaVine's trade market seems to be very dire and that is making it tough to trade him. The relationship between LaVine and the organization isn't very good either and a member of the Bulls just bashed the 29-year-old.

Bulls News: Zach Lavine Gets Torched by Someone in the Organization

In a piece written by Jamal Collier of ESPN, he revealed why the Bulls knew they had to switch things around.

An anonymous team source unloaded on the UCLA product.

"He's never won, he's done it his way the whole way and never won. If he's interested in winning, he'll do what's asked of him. And if he's motivated to not be here, one way is to come, be compliant and be who he is."

That statement was said to violate LaVine. Back in 2022, LaVine and the Bulls agreed to terms on a five-year, $215.2 million max extension.

That contract aged terribly for the Bulls, which is a big reason why they can't move him.

It seems like this relationship has hit a massive wall and would need a miracle to come back from.

LaVine has been with the Bulls for the past seven seasons but only made the postseason once. Despite being an athletic three-level scorer, he has yet to prove himself to be a winner yet.

In addition, he's only played in four total playoff games in his career. I'm not going to say that LaVine deserved to be outed like that publicly from someone in the organization but they're not wrong. LaVine needs to look in the mirror and make some changes if wants to win in this league.
