Newly acquired WR Keenan Allen is already making waves with his new team. He forms a new dynamic duo with D.J. Moore on the outside but is already looking at competing against his new teammate on the defensive side. CB Jaylon Johnson has the attention of Allen.

These two studs battled in the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, where Johnson stopped Allen from scoring the go-ahead TD leading to the NFC defeating the AFC 64-59. The six-time Pro Bowl WR didn't forget about that matchup and is ready to line up against Johnson in practice.

In a social media post by the Chicago Bears' official X page, Allen says he's ready for the rematch. He said, "He [Jaylon Johnson] kind of got the best of me in the Pro Bowl. But you have created a rivalry so these one one-on-ones in practice going to be real special and you owe me too because you know you was holding."

These matchups in practice are going to be intense but will only benefit both sides. Allen is one of the best playmakers in the league and Johnson has emerged as one of the top cornerbacks in the game.

Battling against the best in practice makes both players better in the long run.

Last season, Allen posted career highs in receptions (108) and receiving yards (1,243) with seven touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Johnson notched 36 total tackles, 10 pass deflections, and a career-high four interceptions. His stellar play helped him secure Second-Team All-Pro honors.

Chicago has made a flurry of moves but they still aren't getting much love from oddsmakers. The Bears are currently third (+350) in the NFC North in terms of odds of winning the division according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
