General manager Ryan Poles made it his mission to vastly improve the team this offseason. He made a flurry of additions in the NFL Draft and free agency to raise the floor of this group.

A lot of their moves are overshadowed by Caleb Williams coming into town but one of the best acquisitions was WR Keenan Allen. Chicago was able to acquire Allen for a 2024 fourth-round pick.

The 32-year-old has made some moves ahead of the expected contact talks.

Bears News: Keenan Allen Changes His Representation

Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Allen is hiring Zeke Sandhu and Damarius Bilbo of Klutch Sports to represent him.

Allen is entering the final season of his four-year, $80 million deal but he's open to a long-term deal with the Bears.

This offseason, he's watched as Justin Jefferson, A.J. Brown, Jaylen Waddle, and Nico Collins get massive deals. Even Klutch Sports' DeVonta Smith inked an extension with Philly.

Since entering the league in 2013, Allen has been one of the best playmakers. In 11 seasons, Allen has recorded 904 receptions (1,309 targets) for 10,530 receiving yards, and 59 touchdowns.

Just last year, he posted a career-high in receptions (108) with 1,243 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns.

Allen is currently the 19th highest-paid receiver at $20 million in 2024 but his stats reflect that being below the market value now. The six-time Pro Bowler forms a dynamic trio on the field with him, D.J. Moore, and Rome Odunze but he's certainly looking to cash in. And you can't blame him.
