The Chicago Bears have undergone a massive overturn this offseason. The Bears made a smart choice to move on from Justin Fields in exchange for Caleb Williams, who was selected with the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

GM Ryan Poles did an exceptional job putting playmakers around Williams. They traded for Keenan Allen, drafted Rome Odunze with the ninth overall pick, and signed RB D'Andre Swift in free agency. Not to mention they already have D.J. Moore on the roster.

Despite that, it's going to be a learning curve for Williams in the NFL. During his first week of practice at OTAs, Williams struggled immensely but it looks like he bounced back in a major way in Week 2 of practice.

Bears News: Caleb Williams Have a Good Day of Practice on May 31

Practice was made available to members of the media on May 31, as they got their second look at the former USC product in OTAs.

Zack Pearson of BearReport.com was in attendance and reported that Williams looked good out there. He had Williams going 13 of 14 on pass attempts on the day, including a deep touchdown pass to Moore. Pearson said that Williams played with timing and rhythm. This is an improvement from last week, where he only completed three passes.

It's worth mentioning that the Bears were without Kyler Gordon, Kevin Byard, Jaquan Brisker, and Jaylon Johnson in the secondary but nonetheless, Williams went into the film room and improved over the week.

It's super early but this is the kind of progress you want to see from your young signal-caller. Getting better in every practice is the goal and Williams is already on that track.
