Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze Shot at Packers Solidify Fan-Favorite Status
By Cem Yolbulan
The vibes in Chicago are as good as ever. Bears fans are entering the NFL season with more hope than they had in a long time and they owe a lot of that to their two rookies. Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze, the new star pairing in the Bears offense, have become instant fan favorites.
One of the reasons for that is the fact that they have completely embraced the city of Chicago and the Bears organizations. This was evident on Sunday when a video of Williams and Odunze emerged online where they join in on "Green Bay sucks" chants from the fans.

According to commenters online, the two rookies were at the Old Crow Smokehouse in Chicago when fans started the chant. They quickly embraced the chants and wasted no time in joining them.
This will only solidify their status as fan favorites in the city. Yet, that is not sufficient for a fanbase that has had only one winning season in the last 11 years.
To become real heroes, they need to actually beat the Packers. Chicago has a miserable 2-18 record against the Packers over the last 10 years. Embracing the rivalry is great but the Bears need Williams and Odunze to be fueled by it and turn the tide against their bitter foes.
On FanDuel Sportsbook, the Bears are underdogs in both Packers games next season. However, a solid start by the Bears rookies can go a long way in shifting those odds before the game.
