Do you know what today is in Chicago? Victory Monday! After months of hype and excitement, the Bears finally played a regular season game in front of the home crowd at Soldier Field.

Even though the Bears' offense struggled mightily in this matchup, they still came out with a 24-17 victory due to their stellar play from the defense. They forced the Tennessee Titans into three turnovers and put quarterback Will Levis into duress throughout the second half.

In the fourth quarter, Levis threw a bone-headed interception to Tyrique Stevenson that gave the Bears the lead. Levis was clowned after the game by Stevenson and the jokes continued to come from another defender.

Following the game, defensive end DeMarcus Walker went on Twitter and roasted Levis.

"Just take the sack next time kid."

Walker's statement highlights how the Bears' defense felt about Levis' unthinkable mistake. When talking to reporters after the game, Stevenson said, "If he’s going to make dumb decisions like that, we’re going to make him pay for it."

The Bears offense had big-time trouble moving the ball on Sunday, recording just 144 yards of total offense but the defense came to play.

Chicago held Tennessee to 244 total yards of offense and 3-of-14 on third downs. In addition, the Titans only threw for 104 yards with 3 yards per completion. If the Bears defense is going to play like this in 2024, Chicago is in line for a massive year.
