A quiet day for the Chicago Bears' offense required the team's other units to step up -- and boy did they ever. A blocked punt helped Chicago get its first touchdown of the season, while the defense made things very difficult for Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis in the second half.

The Bears' pressure finally got the best of Levis in the fourth quarter, when the young quarterback made a mistake by tossing a ball in the air to avoid a sack, which ended up in Chicago cornerback Tyrique Stevenson returning it the other way for a pick-six.

Reflecting on that game-changing play, Stevenson roasted Levis for the decision.

Stevenson told reporters, “If he’s going to make dumb decisions like that, we’re going to make him pay for it.” The CB's words are harsh, but it's also legitimate criticism Levis should take to heart as he looks to stake his claim as a starting-caliber signal-caller in the NFL.

After all, even Williams didn't make a catastrophic mistake like that, and it was his first game as a pro. Sure, he didn't lit things up as a passer with 14 completions for 93 yards, but he didn't give the ball up to the opposing defense on a silver platter.

The performance of Chicago's defense in the opener shows this unit is ready to be among the best of the best again. The Bears tallied three turnovers on the day, which created even more scoring opportunities to help out the struggling offense. That will be key as Williams tries to find his footing at the next level.
