4. T.J. Edwards

The Bears have five players who grew up in the Chicagoland area on their roster, and linebacker T.J. Edwards is one of them. Being a local kid means Edwards was raised as a Bears fan and is currently playing for his favorite NFL team. With Edwards's connection to the city, there is a chance that he is one of the players HBO chooses to follow.

If Edwards does have cameras focused on him, fans might learn a little bit more about his life growing up in Lake Villa, Illinois. Learning more about Edwards's childhood might make fans who live in Chicago feel closer to him because of their familiarity with the city.

If learning about Edwards's life doesn't excite fans, then watching how he trains will. Last season, Edwards was one of the Bear's standout defenders, gathering 155 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and three interceptions. Watching him fly around the field to make those plays was fun, so seeing the conditioning process he goes through to be that productive will be interesting to watch.

It will certainly be interesting to see which players on this list and on the team connect the most with fans during Hard Knocks. Especially because every season, there is one player who has such a compelling backstory, they become an immediate fan favorite.
