In about seven weeks time, the Chicago Bears will be featured on HBO's hit series "Hard Knocks". This is exciting for Bears fans, because the show not only brings a level of national intrigue that the team hasn't seen in decades, but also allows fans a chance to learn more about the players.

Getting to know more about the personnel on the Bears is crucial this year since most of their offense is new. Understanding what motivates each player on offense and watching them gel as a team will create a stronger bond between fans and players.

On the other hand, the defense didn't change much from last season, meaning fans are more familiar with those faces. However, that does not mean the show won't provide a deeper look into the defense and help fans create deeper connections with their favorites. With all that being said, here are four players fans are most excited to see on "Hard Knocks."

1. Caleb Williams

Caleb Williams, at number one on this list, should surprise absolutely no one. Williams is one of the main reasons the Bears even got selected to be on the show. Everyone is interested to see how one of the most highly touted prospects over the past decade looks in his first professional offseason.

Many people hope that by the end of the show, Williams will be dominating the Bears' defense, which ended in the top five last season. While that would be great to see, it is highly unlikely ito happen. A more realistic expectation for Williams during "Hard Knocks" is to see him gain an understanding of the playbook and a good connection with his wide receivers.

As long as fans are able to watch Williams get continually better throughout this time, then the excitement surrounding him entering the season will only increase.
