3. Win the Field Position Battle

Winning the field position battle is essential every week because it determines how likely both teams are able to score. This is especially true with a team like the Texans, which have a great quarterback in Stroud and a prolific offense.

Last week, the Texans had three drives that started inside the 20-yard line. Two of the drives ended with the Texans punting the ball back to the Colts. With one of the punts being blocked and returned for a touchdown, The other drive the Texans began from inside their 20 resulted in a nine-yard touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs.

The Bears failed to pin the Titans inside their 20-yard line in Week 1. The best the Bears were able to do was pin the Titans on their own 20 and 21-yard lines. The drive the Titans started on the 20 ended in a punt, and the Bears started their next drive on Tennessee's 48-yard line. Conversely, the Titans scored a touchdown on the drive they started from their own 21-yard line.

If the Bears special teams can pin the Texans inside their 20-yard line 2-4 times on Sunday night, the defense will have a good chance of keeping the Texans from scoring.
