3. Minimize Tutu Atwell

As mentioned above, the Rams will be down their top two receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, on Sunday. This leaves players like Jordan Whittington, Demarcus Robinson, and Tutu Atwell to step up for the Rams. Last week, Atwell was the Rams' best receiver, catching four passes for 93 yards.

Although Atwell showed he could do much more than catch the deep ball against the 49ers, that's still where most of his yardage came from. Atwell had two catches of 20+ yards last week. His longest catch was a 50-yarder that put the Rams inside the five-yard line, where they would ultimately tie the game.

Allowing big plays through the air has been a slight issue for the Bears' defense this season. In Week 2 against the Texans, the Bears allowed seven passes of 15+ yards. While some of the yards gained were from yards after catch, allowing that many is still an issue.

Last week, the Bears only let up one pass of over 20 yards, which was a 44-yarder to Alec Pierce. This success was mainly due to how poorly Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson was playing.

Stafford won't perform as badly as Richardson did last Sunday, so the Bears must defend deep and tackle better. If the defense does this, it will efficiently eliminate Atwell's threat, giving Stafford one less weapon to use.
