2. Slow down Braden Fiske and Jared Verse

The Rams lost the cornerstone of their defense this offseason when future hall-of-famer Aaron Donald retired. Replacing a player of Donald's caliber with only one player is nearly impossible. That is why the Rams selected edge rushers Jared Verse and Braden Fiske in this past draft.

Verse was selected with the 19th pick in the first round, and Fiske was selected with the 39th pick in the second round. Through three games, both players have looked to be real issues. According to the next gen stats, Fiske has 12 quarterback pressures, and Verse has 11. This puts both players at the top of the rookie leaderboard for pressures.

Along with Verse's 11 pressures, he has one sack and one forced fumble. Verse and Fiske's ability to create havoc does not bode well for the Bears' offensive tackles. Both Darnell Wright and Braxton Jones have struggled early on this season. In three games, Wright has allowed 9 QB pressures and 3 sacks, while Jones has allowed seven QB pressures, according to PFF.

In Week 2, the Texans showed how easy it was to put Wright and Jones on skate. However, the Texans' edge rushers are slightly more established than Fiske and Verse. So, hopefully, if the Bears use chips and double teams against the Rams' edge rushers, it will make for an easier day.
