It's finally here: the start of the 2024 NFL regular season. The city of Chicago has been anticipating this moment since the end of April. The Chicago Bears face the Tennessee Titans at 12 PM CT on Sunday at Soldier Field.

Both teams made big moves this offseason. The Titans fired head coach Mike Vrabel and hired Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan. Callahan's hiring brought a massive overhaul to the organization's talent. Some key additions on offense for the Titans include wide receivers Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd, running back Tony Pollard, and center Lloyd Cushenberry. This is all to help second-year quarterback Will Levis.

Defensively, the Titans have a whole new secondary after adding cornerbacks L'Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie as well as signing safeties Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams. The only holdover in the secondary is second-year cornerback Roger McCreary. The team also added linebackers Ernest Jones and Kenneth Murray and drafted nose tackle T'vondre Sweat.

The Bears' offseason was headlined by the selection of former University of Southern California quarterback Caleb Williams. In addition to Williams, the Bears added key pieces to their offense, including wide receivers Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze, running back D'Andre Swift, and center Coleman Shelton.

Defensively, the Bears made several key additions to their lineup through free agency and the draft. They strengthened their defensive line with rookie Austin Booker, third-year defensive end Daniel Hardy, and veteran Jacob Martin. They also bolstered their secondary with the addition of veteran safety Kevin Byard. Aside from these newcomers, the Bears' defense remains the same as last season.

While both teams have young quarterbacks, the Bears have a more complete roster. Let's go through the biggest keys to a Bears victory over the Titans, starting on the next page.
