3 Guaranteed Wins on Bears' 2024 Schedule
Week 10: Nov. 10 vs. Patriots
The Patriots have struggled to stay relevant since Tom Brady left in 2019, only making the playoffs one time in the last four seasons. Their struggles have been on the offensive side of the ball since they have been bereft of any offensive difference-makers, which led to quarterback Mac Jones's struggling more.
The Patriots addressed the Jones issue this offseason when they traded him to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a sixth-round pick in this past draft. With the departure of Jones, the Patriots were in the market for a new quarterback and had the third overall pick in the draft. They selected quarterback Drake Maye from the University of North Carolina with the third-overall pick. While Maye is projected to be better than Jones, the Patriots still lack weapons on offense.
Defensively, the Patriots were still a top-ten unit last season finishing eighth in total defense. However, with the coaching changes, the Patriots defense could look different this season. Even though New England will have nine weeks of games to form cohesion before this matchup, the Bears have more talent than the Patriots and should easily win.
