3 Best Wide Receiver Fits for the Bears in 2024 Free Agency
The Chicago Bears have a ton of money to spend this offseason and a lot of holes to fill. A glaring hole on this team for quite some time now has been its lack of weapons. Although the addition of DJ Moore proved to be a huge help, the Bears still need more.
Luckily for them, this free agency class, especially at the wider receiver position is loaded. Here are three guys that would be the perfect fit for them going forward.
1. Michael Pittman Jr.
Michael Pittman Jr is my favorite wideout in this class by far. Pittman fits the role the Bears lack: a big receiver who can go up and get. At 6’3, 223 pounds, he has the size to be the jump ball threat that this team so desperately needs. He’s had two 1,000-yard seasons over his four seasons and is only 26 years old, making him a perfect candidate to be a cornerstone in this offense for years to come.
Another thing that makes me love Pittman is that he’s been able to succeed no matter who's throwing him the ball. Since his NFL debut in 2020, he’s had seven different quarterbacks yet still put up Pro Bowl numbers.
Considering his size, production and age, Pittman seems to be the best option out there to boost this Bears offense.
