3. D'Andre Swift

Coming off his first 1000-yard rushing season, the Bears signed D'Andre Swift to a three-year deal worth $24 million this offseason. Swift's addition was meant to bring more speed, elusiveness, and explosion to a backfield that was successful last season.

Unfortunately, Swift has failed to do that through three games. Currently, Swift has 37 rushes for 68 yards, meaning he averages only 1.8 yards a carry. Swift's best game so far was against the Titans, finishing the day with 10 carries for 30 yards. That's an embarrassing stat line for a starting NFL running back.

While not all the issues running the ball are on Swift, his vision has been poor on some of his runs this season. This has caused the Bears' offensive linemen to look out of place sometimes, making everyone panic.

Even on runs where Swift hits the right hole, he will try to make a play out of nothing. A perfect example of this was a run he had against the Colts where he could have gained a yard. But instead of taking the yard, Swift went backward to try to circle around to gain more and ended up losing a yard.

While Swift's failure to be productive on the ground is a detriment to the Bears people should have seen this coming. The only reason Swift was so successful last season was because he was behind the best offensive line in the NFL. If Swift can't turn his struggles in Chicago around fast, he could end up being benched soon.
