The Chicago Bears' losing streak extended to eight games on Monday night after a 30-12 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. This loss marks the second for Thomas Brown as the Bears interim head coach. Brown dropping his first two games likely makes his chances of being named the next full-time Bears head coach next to none.

With that knowledge, fans and players alike continue to share their preferences for the Bear's next head coach. During his weekly appearance on 670, the score's Mully & Haugh D.J. Moore share his preference for a head coach. Moore said, "An offensive-minded coach would take it to the next level, but whoever comes in there has just gotta lead the men in the locker room."

Bears News: D.J. Moore would like the Bears to higher an offensive minded head coach

Moore's comments are completely understandable, given he's with Caleb Williams every day and sees his potential. After spending the last season and a half under Matt Eberflus, Moore likely feels that an offensive-minded head coach could unlock Williams faster than a defensive-minded guy.

It's hard to argue that after Eberflus failed with Justin Fields and didn't seem to be helping Williams' development this year either. This is exactly why many fans echo Moore's sentiments on finding the Bears', next head coach.

Ben Johnson is currently the top offensive-minded head coaching candidate available in this coaching cycle. Despite that, questions still remain about if the Bears will finally make the easy hire or if they'll go off the beaten path again.

Whatever the case, Bears brass needs to hire a coach who can unlock Williams' full potential
