Bears Have Perfect Post-Draft Move Clearly Needing to Sign Veteran Von Miller
Chicago could sign Miller at a bargain with several accomplished edge rushers remaining on the market. Joey Bosa, Leonard Floyd, and Haason Reddick all remain available as of this writing. This works in favor of the Bears, with it so late in the offseason and there being only so many remaining options, Miller could be forced to take a lesser deal.
Miller has every reason to want to join Chicago with a chance to chase his third ring after winning it all with the Broncos and Rams. Arguably, if Miller could contribute at a high level, this would be among his most impressive career moments, helping one of the league's prestigious franchises get back on top.
Regardless of how it played out, the addition makes sense and is well within Chicago's budget. It is a move the franchise should explore over the next few weeks as draft fallout continues and teams turn attention back to remaining roster holes, with Miller clearly addressing one of the Bears' few remaining concerns.
