2. Caleb Williams made plays with his legs

Each week, Caleb Williams gets more comfortable playing quarterback at the NFL level. This has resulted in Williams improving numbers through the passing game. Yet, Bears fans have yet to see Williams use his legs a lot like he did in college.

Through five weeks, Williams had 113 rushing yards. His best game on the ground was against the Texans, with five attempts for 44 yards. That said, Williams was under a lot of pressure in that game, which forced him to scramble.

While Williams did face pressure against the Jaguars, it wasn't enough to force him to scramble. Instead, Williams's rushing yards came on designed runs or smart QB scrambles.

Williams best rush of the day was a 24-yard scramble on a first and ten when everyone was covered.

All the top quarterbacks in the NFL understand when to scramble and put their teams in good positions. So, while everyone wants to see Williams stay in the pocket and make good decisions, seeing him understand when to take off is important.

Williams continuing to implement his running ability into his pro game will only help the Bears offense more.
