The Chicago Bears have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL by almost anyone who ranks them. Football Insights went through recent public rankings by notable outlets in the industry to put together an average offensive line ranking.
Based on ESPN, SharpFootball, 4 for 4 Fantasy, FTN Fantasy, USA Today, and Fantasy Points, the Bears averaged a ranking of 4.7, which put them at the fourth-best score overall.Â

The rankings for the Bears ranged from third best to seventh. USA Today was the lowest at seventh. Sharp had them at sixth. 4 for 4 put the Bears at fifth. FTN had them at fourth. Then, both Mike Clay of ESPN and the Fantasy Points team had the Bears all the way at third.Â
The Rams finished ahead of them in third. They had a low ranking of second and a highest ranking of sixth, which pushed them ahead of the Bears. The Philadelphia Eagles and Denver Broncos were the top two across most outlets. The Broncos' lowest ranking was second best, while the Eagles' low was fifth. Still, the Eagles had one ranking of first and three rankings in second, so they had a clear lead on the Rams for second.Â
This is a massive turnaround for the Bears, and one that does not typically happen for this team. The Bears have not had an offensive line with this strong of a reputation since 2018, when Matt Nagy took over the team.Â
What makes this group so impressive is that there are still questions at two key positions. They plan to start Braxton Jones at left tackle, but he will be pushed by both Theo Benedet and Jedrick Wills.Â
Jones started in Week 1 last year, but Ozzy Trapilo finished the year. Still, even with Trapilo likely to miss the entire year, they rank this high. They will also either have a rookie center or a veteran who is on his third team in as many years.Â
The Bears could limp in with Garrett Bradbury and Jones this year, but by next year, they could have Trapilo healthy, and rookie Logan Jones could have taken over at center. So, the Bears have a strong chance to head into next year with an even more talented group.Â
This will rely on Joe Thuney staying healthy and keeping up the play at his age. The rest should be better in 2027.
