The Chicago Bears are currently on a two-game win streak as they roll into Week 6. They are looking to keep the positive momentum going as they are over in London.

This is the first game in London since 2019, and the Bears want to come back to Chicago victorious. Unfortunately for them, that pathway just got harder as they got hit with an injury to a key defender.

Bears News: Tyrique Stevenson is Doubtful for Sunday

According to Courtney Cronin of ESPN, cornerback Tyrique Stevenson hurt his calf during a drill in practice on Thursday and is now listed as doubtful.

That isn't ideal as the Bears will already be without safety Jaquan Brisker in this contest, as he's in the concussion protocol.

The Bears have a stout secondary, ranking sixth in the NFL in pass defense (174), and Stevenson plays a big role in that. He's tied for fourth on the team in total tackles (26) and first in pass deflections (5) with an interception. In addition, he has a 70.5 passer rating allowed.

The silver lining regarding Stevenson's injury is that the Jaguars offense has been very inconsistent. They average 201.6 passing yards per game, which ranks 20th in the league. Jacksonville has also scored 20-plus points just once this season.

Chicago will need other guys to step up in Stevenson's absence but they have the defensive group to make that happen.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Bears are currently 1.5-point favorites over the Jaguars.
