The Chicago Bears have a pivotal NFC North showdown against the Green Bay Packers in Week 14. The Bears are without Rome Odunze and will look to lean on D.J. Moore on the offensive side.

They will also be without CB Tyrique Stevenson in this contest, but it appears they are getting some reinforcements at the linebacker position right in the nick of time. Chicago released its final injury report on Friday, where it listed LBs T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell as full participants for the last practice of the week.

And that likely puts them on a fast track to playing in Week 14 against the Packers, which is a welcome sight since that position has been hit hard by injuries lately.

T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell Could Return for Bears in Week 14

For the past few weeks, the Bears have been without these two guys, along with fellow LB Tremaine Edmunds. Edwards has been sidelined for the last four games due to hand and hamstring injuries. He has played in four games this year for Chicago, as the same hamstring that was nagging him at the beginning of the year is still a problem.

It was just last season when Edwards was second on the team in tackles (129) and third in sacks (four). Although this season hasn't gone as planned, getting him back in the fold will be big for this Bears defense. And the same can be said about Sewell.

He's second among Bears linebackers in total snaps (392) this season, as Sewell has started in seven games for Chicago in 2025. While he may have struggled in pass coverage, he has been a solid run defender, logging a 70.9 run-defense grade, according to Pro Football Focus.

It's also great to get them back, as rookie LB Ruben Hyppolite II is missing his second straight game with a shoulder injury.

Nonetheless, the Packers are expected to run the ball a sizable amount in this contest. Going into Week 14, Green Bay is tied for eighth in the NFL in carries (350), with Josh Jacobs leading the charge. Getting two thumpers back to slow down the run is huge. This is especially true as Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon are getting their feet wet in the secondary after returning against the Eagles.

As the final stretch run of the season starts to kick into overdrive, getting your players back on the field is massive. And that's certainly a welcome sight as Chicago chases their first divisional title since 2018.
