The Chicago Bears are seeking to snap their four-game losing streak and get back into the win column. They are sitting with a 4-6 record and the vibes around the team are gloomy right now.

There is still an opportunity to turn this season around, but it needs to start now. While some fans have hope in this campaign, many others are looking down the line. The chatter around the 2025 offseason has begun and multiple fanbases are fully invested.

ESPN's Matt Miller released a first-round mock draft and had the Bears adding a force to their defensive line.

Bears Rumors: Chicago Lands Derrick Harmon in ESPN Mock Draft

The draft order is going to change over the next couple of weeks but after 11 weeks, the Bears own the 12th overall pick. With that selection, Miller has the Bears taking defensive tackle Derrick Harmon out of the University of Oregon.

"The offensive and defensive lines are both in play here, but the defensive side makes more sense. Harmon has been fantastic this season with three sacks, nine run stops and 25 pressures. The 6-foot-5, 310-pound junior has a great swim move and active hands, and has flashed top-tier agility, power and balance. Chicago tried to fix its defensive interior in 2023 by picking Gervon Dexter Sr. (second round) and Zacch Pickens (third round), but neither has emerged as an impact player. Harmon can be that guy."

Harmon is quick and twitchy force upfront. He is a sound-run defender who can play on all three downs. In his collegiate career, he's logged 105 career tackles, 6.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.

Zacch Pickens was selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft but hasn't been that productive in the Windy City (24 career tackles and .5 sacks).

Getting some juice along the defensive line will only improve an already talented defense. The more pressure you can create, the better results your defense will have.
