The Chicago Bears had a massive 2025 offseason. Chicago went out and hired the most sought-after coach on the market, Ben Johnson. Following Johnson's hiring, the Bears went out and rebuilt their offensive line and added key pieces to their defensive line.

That said, Johnson and general manager Ryan Poles still have work to do in the NFL draft. Given the trade that netted the Bears Caleb Williams and the fact they underachieved in 2024, they have some premium draft capital to help the new coach staff add youth to the roster.

Here's a look at every pick the Bears have in the 2025 NFL Draft, including the trades that landed certain selections and lost others.

Bears 2024 Draft Trades

The Bears have the usual seven picks in the 2025 draft. However, three of their draft picks were acquired in trades. Here’s how Chicago gained these selections:

  • The Bears traded the No.1 overall pick in the 2022 draft to the Carolina Panthers for a huge haul and pick No. 41 this year is the final selection from that trade.
  • On November 5th, 2024, the Bears traded Khalil Herbert to the Cincinnati Bengals for a seventh-round pick.
  • On August 24, 2023, the Bears traded a sixth-round pick with the Cleveland Browns in exchange for defensive tackle Chris Williams and a seventh-round pick.

Compensatory Picks

Chicago has zero compensatory draft picks this year. Compensatory picks are given out to teams across the league based on qualifying free agents signed or lost the previous offseason. Unfortunately, none of the Bears' free agents in 2024 played well enough to earn these picks.

Team Needs

The Bears filled up many of their major needs this offseason via trades and free agency. As a result, the Bears are left to fill secondary needs and add depth.

  • Running back
  • Starting left tackle/Offensive line depth
  • Defensive line depth
  • Safety
  • Tight end depth
