Veteran gunslinger Case Keenum turned back the clock and pulled the strings of the offense as if he were still playing for the Houston Cougars, slicing and dicing through the Philadelphia Eagles’ helpless defense.

While some teams don’t even have a reliable starter, the Bears have a generational talent, a borderline starter, and a veteran backup. This cannot be overlooked, especially with Caleb Williams set to miss time.
The defense is getting better
The Bears have now limited explosive plays in consecutive weeks after getting torched in the opener. The secondary is showing steady signs of improvement, and Dayo Odeyingbo wreaked havoc out of the backfield.
Ben Johnson is a maniac
This one isn’t new, but it had to be said nonetheless. Even with a third-stringer, he stayed true to his philosophy, going for it on fourth down and even having CASE KEENUM, of all people, and in big 2026, scramble for a touchdown in the second half. He’s got a pair.
This offense is too stacked
Once again, the Bears had multiple guys step up in this one. It might be disappointing for fantasy football managers, but it’s a treat to watch if you’re a fan. Defenses have to pick their poison, but this team has way too many weapons.
Kalif Raymond is the steal of the offseason
For the second time in three games, Kalif Raymond led the Bears’ passing game. They got him on a one-year, $5.1 million deal that might now be one of the best value contracts in football. He’s been the team’s most consistent pass catcher, just like absolutely no one predicted.
Caleb Williams will catch countless strays
This is and will continue to be Caleb Williams’ team, but it won’t be long before social media gets flooded with memes and mockery about how the offense looked as sharp with Case Keenum at the helm. Haters gonna hate, I guess.
