The Chicago Bears are getting ready for their preseason finale against the Titans on Saturday as the franchise will turn the page towards the regular season. Still, there is a lot to be learned in this weekend's finale as Chicago fans search for answers as to the final roster spots and which players could be pushing themselves into surprise roles.
With this in mind, let's look at a handful of situations that Chicago fans should be looking at during Saturday's game. Starting with a position that has gone from being an area of concern to having two possible answers.
1. Logan Jones
Jones played extended snaps in the second week of preseason action and didn't give up a single pressure in pass protection. The center was as close to perfection as you can reasonably expect, and that is why the position is all of a sudden a clear area of debate. The future is Jones, but veteran Garrett Bradbury is coming off winning an AFC Championship as the New England Patriots starter and helping guide Drake Maye to take a huge leap. The debate is clear and should last well into the final week of roster cuts as the team attempts to determine if a trade is needed.
2. Jahdae Walker
Walker made the most impressive play in Chicago's second preseason game and reminded fans of a potential that still is unknown. The Bears have every reason to embrace the pass catcher and find out whether it is Walker, Kalif Raymond, or Zavion Thomas who is capable of providing the most behind Rome Odunze and Luther Burden. While it appears that Raymond will get the early-season start, Walker is still fighting for early-season snaps.
3. Tyson Bagent
If you don't think there is a chance a team is going to be desperate enough to attempt to trade for the Chicago backup look no further than the Cleveland Browns. The franchise is started by Deshaun Watson, who appears to be running away with the league's most hated player title. A great final preseason game from Bagent would go a long way in breathing life into trade hopes and leave the Bears with the ability to add a future pick.
4. Bears Running Back Depth Battle
The Bears have a clear starter and backup in D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai, as the duo is coming off an incredible 2025 campaign. However, the decision the Bears are going ot make for the third back role lacks complete clarity. This is especially true as you look at the team's options and consider some of the potential cuts around the league where a change could be made.
