2. OL Teven Jenkins

Another offensive lineman the Bears may choose to part ways with this offseason is Teven Jenkins. In his fourth season in Chicago, Jenkins actually showed what made him a second-round pick back in 2021. He had his healthiest season, only missing two games and being one of the best offensive linemen on the roster, per PFF.

Yet, that is likely not going to be enough to keep Jenkins in Chicago. Bears insider Brad Biggs recently reported that the team may not be too inclined to re-sign the starting left guard.

One of the biggest reasons for that is his injury history. Availability concerns have long been a thing for Jenkins, who was only able to suit up for 31 games in the first three seasons of his career. Whether the Bears think the 2024 campaign was more of an anomaly or the new norm for Jenkins will determine the type of contract offer he receives.

The front office may choose to overhaul the offensive line. If the price to keep Jenkins around becomes too expensive, it's hard to see Bears fans getting too upset about losing the former Oklahoma State standout.
