3. Tyler Scott, WR

Tyler Scott had a great training camp, and some believed he would take some strides in his sophomore season. Unfortunately, that did not end up being the case at all, as his numbers dropped from his rookie year. The addition of Keenan Allen played a role in this as well, as there simply were not too many targets available to the WR4 on the roster. Scott played in just 11 games and posted one catch for 5 yards.

Scott is currently the only true deep threat the Bears have on the roster. Rome Odunze and D.J. Moore are not running in quicksand, but Scott has speed that they don't. We will have to wait and see if Doyle and Ben Johnson think Scott can be that deep threat that the offense will be looking to add or if they need to find one in free agency or the draft.

Keenan Allen is likely on his way out so the WR3 spot will be something that needs to be filled this offseason. Scott has shown flashes, but had Justin Fields throwing him passes his rookie year and then buried on the depth chart due to better talent in the room this past season.

While he is not going to beat Jameson Williams in a race, he has enough speed to take the top off a defense. On the other hand, they may be able to find a guy later in the draft with more speed to come in and at the very least compete with Scott for that third receiver spot.
