Blackhawks News: This Connor Bedard video will make you smile

The Chicago Blackhawks are looking forward to the regular season. They aren’t going to be a good team by any means but there seems to be a pretty well-known understanding there.

What they are going to be is incredibly exciting because they have Connor Bedard coming to town.

The Hawks earned the right to land Bedard because they won the 2023 NHL Draft Lottery. Of course, that is a huge moment for their franchise.

Bedard has the potential to be one of the best players in the National Hockey League. Think about some of the best players in the league and you may have someone like that in him.

What Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews were as individuals may pale in comparison to what Bedard becomes. Bedard might not win quite that much but that is a team thing.

The Chicago Blackhawks are going to have Connor Bedard in 2023-24.

On Monday, a video surfaced of Connor Bedard from Biosteel Camp. Of course, any Bedard content is going to get Blackhawks fans excited but this one was different.

It didn’t have anything to do with on-ice stuff either. It was a video of Connor Bedard working out in the gym with Connor McDavid.

Seeing Bedard hang with McDavid is amazing in every way. McDavid is the best player in the NHL and he is going to go down as one of the best to ever play the game.

There really isn’t a close second in the NHL as McDavid is incredibly skilled in every way and he combines it with the fastest skating you’ll ever see.

If there is anything Bedard can learn from McDavid, now is a great chance. Other great superstars are at the camp as well like Leon Draisaitl, Nathan MacKinnon, and Cale Makar.

Those are also amazing players for Bedard to learn a few things from. He will be in that conversation with those guys as the years go along if he reaches his potential.

It is good to see Bedard participating in these things. He is obsessed with hockey and taking in a camp like this with some of the best in the world is great for him.

Blackhawks fans can start getting excited. The preseason is under a month away and training camp even less than that. Hockey is coming soon and Connor Bedard is going to be a big part of our winter.
