The Chicago Bears’ QB depth chart should look like this

3. Nathan Peterman

Nathan Peterman is the guy that should stick as Chicago Bears QB3.

PJ Walker might end up getting cut because there is no way that the Bears should let go of Nathan Peterman. He brings things to the table that are just as important as his play.

He is so clearly the fourth-best quarterback on the roster. If he is ever needed to make a start in an important game this season, the Bears are in big trouble.

However, there are benefits to keeping him. He is someone that the rest of the players on the team really like being around. He is also good as a backup quarterback in terms of being like an extra quarterback coach.

Sometimes, guys like that are needed for good teams. If he is someone that makes Justin Fields comfortable, he should be on the team helping out. Even if he is just good with a headset as the backup, that is good enough.

Seeing this as the quarterback room this season is probably not what the Bears had in mind a month ago. However, based on what we’ve seen in the preseason so far, this is how it should look.
