The NFL schedule release is less than 24 hours away, and there is a lot to be excited about. After a season that saw the Chicago Bears finish 3-14, fans everywhere are itching to see where the team will be able to improve in 2023.

Aside from the normal NFC North competition, the Bears will be seeing the NFC South and the AFC West. The NFC South as a whole is coming off a rough 2022 season where the best team finished with an 8-9 record.

The AFC West, on the other hand, was one of the most competitive in football. The defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs were atop the division, finishing with a 14-3 record in 2022. The Chargers finished 10-7 and were a playoff team as well.

The Raiders and Broncos didn’t live up to their 2022 expectations but they have both reloaded and are ready to compete.

The Chicago Bears might have some good primetime action in 2023.

Not every team is required to play a primetime game in 2023. With the Bears likely in rebuilding mode, it wouldn’t be all that surprising if a night game just wasn’t on the schedule.

However, Justin Fields is coming off of a highlight-littered season where we saw explosive runs and exciting throws on a near-weekly basis.

The Bears are also matching up with elite quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, and Russell Wilson in 2023. The NFL schedules will be released on Thursday at 7 PM CT.

As the time continues to count down, here are the three Chicago Bears games that would be perfect for primetime.
