Chicago Bears troll fans on Twitter while counting down to NFL Draft

The Chicago Bears hold all the cards this offseason as the team has the most cap space available of any NFL team this offseason and also sits at the top of the 2023 NFL Draft Order.

Fans are creating mock drafts daily with the goal of trying to determine what Bears’ general manager Ryan Poles will do with the first overall selection.

On Wednesday, while highlighting that we are 50 days away from the start of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Bears had some fun with their fans.

The truth of the matter is that the NFL Draft can not come soon enough. Fans are creating unrealistic expectations in regard to what the Bears will do with the first overall draft pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

While the Bears likely will trade the pick in an effort to gain more draft capital, some mock scenarios have stretched beyond the levels that Aaron Rodgers was on when he took ayahuasca.

If there is one thing that the end of the Super Bowl proves, it is that there is far too much time between the last game of the NFL season and the NFL Draft. NFL fans, and Bears fans especially, have a lot of time on their hands.

That would be the reason why the logical Bears fan has to sift through the flawed thought exercises that many complete during this time period of the NFL schedule.

No, the Bears are probably not going to use their first overall selection to trade down just to trade down again in order to trade down again. The one ask that should be for all Bears fans is to be better. If you feel like I am talking about you, it is because I am.
