The Chicago Bears were the worst team in the NFL last season and they now hold the number one pick in the 2023 NFL Draft as a result.

This is outstanding for the franchise as they can now use it to get even more draft capital as teams that need a quarterback will move up and pay a lot to do so.

Chicago is almost a lock to trade the first overall pick which should really help them. In fact, there is more than one trade that can be made as a result of landing this pick.

In this 2023 Chicago Bears mock draft, you’ll see that there are a lot of great ways that the Bears can make in order to better their future.

It all starts with general manager Ryan Poles doing what he needs to do in order to get the most out of this. There have already been lots of rumors surrounding the team and what they might do. This mock might be a great way for them to go about things:

The Texans could give up all of this to get the first-overall pick from the Bears.

The Chicago Bears very well could land an absolute haul for this pick and still only move down one spot. That 2023 second and third can go a long way in addition to the first pick that Houston has in next year’s draft.

If they are bad again, that could work in Chicago’s favor even more. A move like this could truly change the franchise forever.
